The brief for our new build home project called for welcoming, playful spaces for multiple generations within the family to enjoy. Naturally sunken into its surroundings, the property rests on the peak of a coastal village on the Island with distant views of the Solent. The external material palette of charred timber, soft oak and nordic tier stone seamlessly blend into the interior of the house to give a more holistic palette. With clever spatial arrangements, the layout works with the client’s lifestyle and assists with everyday tasks in life.
