Check out the link here to have a look at the incredible shots : https://www.mattinsonassociates.com/portfolio/woodland-house/ We were taken on by the client’s of this job as Architects some time ago to design a building that was iconic yet timeless and would sit seamlessly in the surrounding Woodland landscape in Wootton, Isle of Wight. However, we got it through planning first time round and designed a beautiful home that was light on the earth to avoid tree roots and that celebrated the surrounding oak trees. “Mattinson Associates did an amazing job securing planning permission for our new build family home in a very difficult site surrounded by ancient…(more)

Completed Project | Black Leaf House

2020/3/25

This month, Mattinson Associates Architect’s & Interior Designers completed one of our favourite jobs as of it – a black brick monolithic extension in Ryde, Isle of Wight. The existing house has been completely transformed to make a truly enchanting space. The rear of the house has been removed and replaced by a double storey rear extension alongside a single storey boundary extension. This has opened the house up to the magnificent views over the town and towards the sea.
