With sales of homes on the Isle of Wight increasing due to the popular appeal of escaping to the countryside or holidaymakers looking for a more permanent answer to staycationing, our homes are being reimagined more than ever. With this trend in mind, we have predicted how homes might change post lockdown.  The Rise of Separate Rooms:  Open plan living is a concept that many of our clients (and us) love – that dreamy entertaining space where family and friends can congregate and socialise with endless views out to the garden. Completed Project | Black Leaf House

2020/3/25

This month, Mattinson Associates Architect’s & Interior Designers completed one of our favourite jobs as of it – a black brick monolithic extension in Ryde, Isle of Wight. The existing house has been completely transformed to make a truly enchanting space. The rear of the house has been removed and replaced by a double storey rear extension alongside a single storey boundary extension. This has opened the house up to the magnificent views over the town and towards the sea.
