horestone point
Horestone Point is a distinctive property set within a large coastal landscape, gently sloping down to the sea. Designed in the late 1920s by architect Oliver Hill, its Art Deco influence gives it a unique character and sets it apart as a standout example of seaside villa architecture.
Originally built as a single family holiday home, it had been awkwardly divided into two separate units. We were brought in to resolve the split, making both homes function well independently while respecting the integrity of the original design.
Careful adjustments were made to improve the internal flow of each property and connect them more logically to their respective outdoor spaces. At the same time, we ensured they could work together as one cohesive home for large family gatherings. The result is a more flexible, functional layout that feels in keeping with the house’s original character and ready to serve future generations.
